An aerospace client is looking for a Payroll Analyst who will support weekly and biweekly Ad hoc payroll processing.

Location: Irving, TX 75063 (On-site)
Position: Payroll Analyst
Pay Rate: $30/hr. on W2 (DOE)
Duration: 12 months or longer
Schedule: 5×8 (M-F)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support weekly and biweekly Ad hoc payroll processing
  • Load supplemental pay file upon request
  • Identify and resolve errors during processing
  • Validate regression testing and coordinate thru error resolution
  • Support SAP file loads
  • Basic Ad hoc query request
  • Works closely with management in preparation for compliance audits and other projects as needed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • High school diploma & 4 years of related education, i.e.: business or accounting and/or relevant work experience
  • PAYROLL SAP experience is REQUIRED.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite (excel, word, and PowerPoint).
  • Payroll processing experience including relevant regulatory requirements; internal policy and procedure; accounting practices; system software requirements.
  • Knowledge of FLSA, federal and state laws, etc.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must possess a strong characteristic for attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Problem-solving; organizing and prioritizing work demands to meet critical deadlines.
  • Perform and understand basic payroll calculations.
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Payroll Professional designation (CPP)
  • Prior experience working in a shared service or center of excellence environment
