A client is looking for an HR Business Process Analyst to join the People Operations and Shared Services team. The candidate will evaluate existing processes, identify areas of inefficiency, and develop strategies to enhance productivity, streamline operations, and optimize resource allocation. 

Location: New York, NY 10003 (REMOTE)
Position: HR Business Process Analyst
Pay Rate: $49/hr. on W2 (depends on experience)
Duration: 12 months
Hours: 40hrs

JOB SUMMARY:

  • We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Process Analyst to join our People Operations and Shared Services team. 
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience identifying, analyzing, and improving business processes within an HR organization. 
  • They are responsible for evaluating existing processes, identifying areas of inefficiency, and developing strategies to enhance productivity, streamline operations, and optimize resource allocation. 
  • The process analyst collaborates with various stakeholders, including business managers, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams, to ensure smooth process flow and drive organizational performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process Evaluation and Analysis:
  • Identify and map existing business processes across departments or functions.
  • Analyze process workflows, inputs, outputs, and interdependencies to understand efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and areas for improvement through data analysis and stakeholder interviews.
  • Document current and future state process documentation, including process maps, flowcharts, and standard operating procedures.
Process Improvement:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities aligned with organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and apply problem-solving methodologies to drive process improvements.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process performance and monitor improvements over time.
Change Management:
  • Assess the impact of process changes on employees, systems, and other business functions.
  • Develop change management plans and communication strategies to ensure a smooth transition and adoption of new processes.
  • Provide training and support to employees regarding process changes and new tools or technologies implemented.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to process improvement.
  • Proactively identify and suggest innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by engaging stakeholders and promoting a process-driven mindset.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience.
  • Experience writing documentations/SOPs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect complex processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Proficiency in process mapping and analysis techniques, such as flowcharts, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies, such as Business Process Reengineering, Six Sigma, and Lean. or.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and change management methodologies is a plus
