Sr Quality Control Specialist
Our DOD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Sr. Quality Control Specialist position that just opened in Canonsburg, PA. In this role you’ll compare defects against standards and recommend disposition. We’ll rely on you to review and disposition QA documentation (IDRs, DNs) and verify corrective action implementation. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor’s Degree in related specialized area and 5+ years of experience.
Location: Canonsburg, PA
Position: Sr. Quality Control Specialist
Contract: 12-24 months with possibility of going direct/permanent
Pay: $36.34/hour
Telecommute: Onsite
Overview:
The Sr Quality Control Specialist compares defects against standards and recommends disposition. We’ll rely on you to review and disposition QA documentation (IDRs, DNs) and verify corrective action implementation. You’ll also participate and assist in performing audits.
We encourage you to apply if you have these preferred skills or experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related specialized area or the equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- J-STD_001, 002, IPC 610, MIL-STD-883, or NASA STD’s certifications are ideal and may be required within 30 days of hire
- Fully proficient knowledge of basic electrical or mechanical technology, ESD control, workmanship standards and drawing interpretation
- Ability to conduct process audits
- Responsible for gathering inputs from various stakeholders, summarizing key information, and providing constructive feedback to support decision-making processes
