Financial Analyst
An electric utility client is looking for a Financial Analyst who will be tasked to monitor and track costs and be responsible for budget variance analysis.
Location: Rosemead, CA 91770
Position: Financial Analyst
Pay Rate: $40/hr. on W2
Duration: 9 months or longer
Schedule: M-F, 8-5
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitoring and tracking of costs
- Budget variance analysis
- Identifying balancing/Memo/Base account costs
- Cost tracking between different cost recovery mechanisms
- Developing 2025 budgets
- Responding to regulatory data requests
- Supporting regulatory filings
- Supporting audits, internal and external
- Supporting financial performance tracking
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, business administration, or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of ERP Systems
- Mastery of Microsoft tools such as Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Knowledge of SAP System, as implemented at the company
- Knowledge of the company's financial model
- Knowledge of PowerBI tool usage and report development
- Proficient in BEX/AFE
