Position: Sr Analyst – Forensic Audit
Pay Rate: $62–$65/hr
Duration: 6 months from the start date
Full time (40 hours)
Start Date: Approximately December 10, 2024

Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the Senior Analyst – Corporate Forensic Audit is to review and audit company credit card transactions. This includes analyzing company credit card programs and transactions to ensure compliance with company policies. This position will also assist the Corporate Accounts Payable department when needed. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp.’s policies, practices, and procedures. All Las Vegas Sands Corp. Team Members are expected to conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times. Team Members are required to observe the company’s standards, work requirements and rules of conduct

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly reporting packages for management, which includes policy exceptions, trends in spending patterns, unusual spending activity, and other analytical data and ad hoc reports as requested.
  • Assist with maintaining, improving and implementing any new modules in the Workday expense system and educating Team Members on the system and company policies.
  • Audit company credit card transactions and expense reports in the Workday expense system to ensure transactions comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Handle exceptions, accordingly, being a point of contact between the Team Member and management.
  • Search for unusual items and/or patterns of spending and provide relevant reports to management.
  • Perform data mining of T&E and PCard transactions
  • Monitor and enforce company T&E and credit card policies for timely submission of reports
  • Perform a variety of accounting duties which include assisting the A/P and Corporate Accounting department as needed
  •  Identify and recommend process and program improvements
  • Perform job duties in a safe manner.
  • Attend work as scheduled on a consistent and regular basis.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any certification or license, as required by law or policy
  • 3 years of experience in accounting, auditing, IT or computer sciences preferred
  • Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills along with the ability to quickly isolate and resolve issues
  • Strong quantitative and analytical, customer service and computer skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English

Physical Requirements
Must be able to

  • Physically access assigned workspace areas with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Work remotely as necessary.
  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, and dust.
  • Utilize laptop and standard keyboard to perform essential functions of the job.
