Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s degree in a related specialized area or the equivalent is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree. J-STD_001, 002, IPC 610, MIL-STD-883, or NASA std’s certification may be required within 30 days of hire.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

With your keen eye for the detail, the Sr Quality Control Specialist compares defects against standards and recommends disposition. We’ll rely on you to review and disposition QA documentation (IDRs, DNs) and verify corrective action implementation. You’ll also participate and assist in performing audits.

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related specialized area or the equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • J-STD_001, 002, IPC 610, MIL-STD-883, or NASA STD’s certifications are ideal and may be required within 30 days of hire
  • Fully proficient knowledge of basic electrical or mechanical technology, ESD control, workmanship standards and drawing interpretation
  • Ability to conduct process audits
  • Responsible for gathering inputs from various stakeholders, summarizing key information, and providing constructive feedback to support decision-making processes
