Our client is a worldwide telecommunications company that offers voice, data and video services and solutions on its award-winning networks and platforms, delivering on customers’ demand for mobility, reliable network connectivity, security, and control.
 
We are looking for an In-Building Telecom Project Manager to perform daily oversight/project management of Sales-driven projects that require an In-Building/Venue implementation (4G, 5G).
 
Location: Folsom, CA / Irving, TX / Basking Ridge, NJ / Rolling Meadows, IL – HYBRID
Position: In-Building Telecom Project Manager
Pay: $60.71/hr. on W2 
Duration: 30 months or longer
Hybrid: Office at least two days a week (flexible)

JOB DUTIES:
PM will serve as an In-Building project manager for VBG sales driven projects to implement 4G and 5G at the client’s business customer locations. Facilitate project implementation calls on a weekly and bi-weekly basis with Engineering.

•    Daily oversight/project management of Sales-driven projects that require an In-Building/Venue implementation (4G, 5G).
•    PM will build and maintain collaborative relationships across business units including the client’s Business Group Sales Program Management Office, the market-based network teams, IBV Engineering, Network Assurance, vendors and peer project managers.
•    Must be an expert in creating timelines, keeping projects on track, identifying potential risk and mitigating impact to timelines by working with all of the appropriate client’s Network organizations.

Must Have:
•    Excellent communication skills setting clear direction for process, standards and roles/responsibilities.
•    Ability to summarize lower-level details to an executive format using clear, concise language that highlights the key messages and take-aways.
•    This includes summarizing issues, accomplishments, and priorities of the program
•    Ability to raise escalations when needed and drive resolution
•    Excellent facilitation skills to manage project meetings.

Qualifications
•    Previous agile project management experience a plus
•    Associate’s degree in Engineering, Management, or related field. Bachelors preferred.
•    5+ years’ experience managing large cross-functional or enterprise-wide projects.
•    5 years’ experience in Telecommunications networks
•    Highly motivated team player who can make independent decisions
•    Must be comfortable as a self-starter in a dynamic technical environment
•    Synthesize information, show correlations and draw conclusions, enabling formation of plans and expectations
•    Experience managing projects in regards to Network Departmental scope.
