POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Epic Data Conversion Analyst will provide a comprehensive understanding of data conversion practices throughout the Epic implementation. They provide a secure, effective, integrated patient care delivery system that continually improves outcomes, reduces cost, increases efficiency, and enhances patients’ experiences. Primary responsibilities include collaborating with clinicians and end users of the system to convert and test Epic and other associated systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Responsible for all aspects of the data conversion of athenahealth, Altera SCM, McKesson STAR into Epic.
- Providing Epic product function, design, build, and testing expertise for assigned Epic module(s)
- Collaborating with end users to design, build and optimize their Epic system in a timely and high-quality manner.
- Resolve critical issues independently as necessary.
- Translating business requirements into functional specifications and manage changes to specifications.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of the system to reveal potential issues related to user requests.
- Contribute to Epic design, build, and test phases; troubleshoot problems and questions from end users.
- Proactively recommend improvements and ways to increase efficiency.
- Write and maintain accurate and current documentation regarding application(s) supported by the team.
- Manage vendor communications needed for support, issue resolution and escalation.
- Provide mentoring and transfer of knowledge.
- Performs other related duties as required.
