Advanced Network Design Engineer
Our DOD/Aerospace client is looking to fill an Advanced Network Design Engineer position that just opened in Port Orchard, WA. In this role, you will be a member of a cross functional team responsible for integration of software components, across multiple operating systems (Windows and Linux), hardware configurations (physical and virtual, including networking) and software packages. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field and a minimum of 5 years of experience.

Contract Duration: 12-24 months with possibility of going direct/permanent
Pay: $57.31/hour

Overview:
As an Advanced Network Integration Engineer, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for integration of software components, across multiple operating systems (Windows and Linux), hardware configurations (physical and virtual, including networking) and software packages.
Requirements:
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master’s degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
• Experience with Windows and Linux based operating systems.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code processes and provisioning (i.e. Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience with Container/Container Orchestration software (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques to resolve application, network or data issues.
• In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of networking systems.
