Project Finance Analyst
Our client is a worldwide telecommunications company that offers voice, data and video services and solutions on its award-winning networks and platforms, delivering on customers’ demand for mobility, reliable network connectivity, security, and control.
We are looking for a Project Finance Analyst to develop, design, and manage the process flow for our client’s capital budgeting across all of Value, understanding monthly how our client’s capital dollars are being utilized and the benefits realized.
Location: Basking Ridge, NJ 07920 – HYBRID
Position: Project Finance Analyst
Pay: $67.56/hr. on W2
Duration: 6 months
In-office in Basking Ridge Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Targeted Years of Experience: 5-7 years
Responsibilities:
• Develop, design, and manage the process flow for our capital budgeting across all of Value, understanding monthly how our capital dollars are being utilized and the benefits realized.
• Establish governance to ensure project spending aligns with the approved capital allocation
• Identify potential financial risks in project investments and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Gather request and make trade-off recommendations for leadership alignment for any investment pivots in -year
• Provide thought leadership in developing financial models to assess different capital allocation scenarios, analyzing the impact on the project’s outcomes.
• Ensure all capital planning activities comply with internal financial policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.
• Bias to action and operate with a strong sense of urgency, anticipate changes and proactively plan
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
• Experience with Tableau, Qlik and Power BI Tools, for dashboard reporting
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g. Excel, ERP systems, financial planning tools)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Must be able to meet tight deadlines and have a strong customer focus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
